I had thought for all these years that I was the only Corpsman who stayed at Chelsea for 2 years. Guy's would go to Nam.... comeback and would say to me." You are still here". I had thought the Navy forgot about me, I was thrown off of Ward A, by the male Nurse McCann who I have since learned that many Corpsman hated his guts. To the laundry. I ran that for a while and amazed the SS Chief that a E-5 and a E-6 asked if they could have that job till they got out of the Navy. I then went to the Dermatology Clinic. Finally made E-4. 2 weeks later had orders for Nam. Oh by the way that picture of Chelsea is one I took before I left to go to Nam.

I know! I stole it! I emailed him through his page. But, it hasn't been updated in a long time and the emails don't work anymore.

I forget when I took this picture. While stationed at Chelsea, or before going to Nam. I was also living in Revere for 2 years before it was decommissioned, but just wanted people to know that, that is my shot of Chelsea. I gave it to a guy named Yogi. Who I have to go and invite to this page. He was a Hospital Corpsman also.
