Let us remember this day. I don't see it even marked on calendars any longer. Except perhaps on those connected with the military. Sadly, this country seems bent on re-writing history by ignoring such events.

I also noticed that the History Channel, including the History International, had only ONE show about Pearl Harbor. ONE! All the shows and movies they could have spent the day playing, only ONE! I was irritated to say the least.

The Fire Stations around here, assuming Police too, had Flags half staff. My Satellite radio (XM) on Channel 4 had the News breaks as if it were happening. Now I wonder if they will play the FDR Speech tomorrow.

It is up to us to keep these events alive and pass on to our children.
