Gerald, I remember Hartig but I don't know if I remember him from VP 66 or Rota there in Atlanta. I was a SAR and worked with some great Sailors and Marines out of the airframes shop. We worked on just about any aircraft. I don't remember anyone in the picture though. Were they all TARS. I managed to serve 14 years before a stroke ended my military career.
Doing just fine Brother…yea riding the bike a good bit getting some of that wind therapy don't y'all know…rode it up to Cullman, Alabama a few weeks ago for our 3rd annual Sons of Liberty Wounded Warrior Ride,,,We had 112 bikes and raised $5000…I'll email Y'all the pics via regular email….may even try to post them on hear…BlueEagle...
Oh yea Brother…took a trip to Newberry, SC to see my folks…383 mi. one way cost me a grand total of $48.00 round trip…yea survived the snow and cold weather heard y'all were going to get another blast next week…did y'all make it through ok…?

No haven't had a chance yet Brother...funds have been kind of short here the last month or so just barely surviving right now paying the bills trying to get Momma through school...had to take a side job driving a sod cutting tractor for the man leasing our land....not much but it helps cash and under the table...will get those camp sites pulled up though...because Momma and I are well overdo for a break...we have also been trying to get stocked up for this possible SHTF chaos that maybe coming...Blue Eagle III%

Yeah, I was one of those crazies running around the f/d chasin our A-7s. Working the CATs, etc.
I stayed in for the MED cruise in '74-75 the got out in April '75. Tried to get orders to Rota,Spain, but
they said no. I said "bye!" Kind of miss all of that(once in a while) lol
