Where were you or your family stationed?

I entered basic training at RTD San Diego, Ca Jan 25, 1971. Attended A school for electronic warfare tech ...very 1st class , at Treasure Island Naval Station . Was stationed aboard USS Vesuvius out of Port Chicago, Ca and went Westpac cruise Dec 1971. Was ordered to VAQ 130 det.2 aboard the USS Midway in April 1972and westpac cruise aboard her till march 1973 as aircraft machinists mate A3 Skywarriors. May 1973 was ordered to VF124 at Miramar Naval Air station for training on F4 Phantoms. August 1973 was ordered to VF 142 aboard the USS America out of Norfolk, Va and to Mediterranian cruuise aboard her until June 1974. Was then sent to AIMD at Miramar NAS in engine overhaul on J79 engines until mustering out there in January 25 , 1975.
