"Ken, I was on the LINE for a while and then went over to AO. Another great site is Military.com There are a TON on guys there from 85. It's pretty straight forward. I'm in Cincinnati, been here about 5 years now, married with 16 and 14 year olds.…"
"Ken, I was in VA-85 from 83-87. I too was on Kennedy and Sara. I kept a smaller circle of friends so I dont remember a lot of people. You seem sorta familiar though. You keep in touch with anybody else? Let me know how your doing, Bob"

Hey Bob,
I'm still trying to contact other former buckeyes with the intent to organize a reunion someday (hopefully before we're all gone or too sick to travel). Have you had any success?
Looks like you joined and got out around 10 years after I did. I live in Fairfield Township and actually worked with a Bob Rowland at Delphi in Dayton. Any relation?
Hello Bob,
I may have posted my message to you elsewhere. I'm still learning this site. I posted a message on military.com regarding this site. How did you find it?
There are other free sites available to "re-connect" with former friends & acqaintances. Try military.co, intruderassociation.org, hullnumber.com. Others are available but charge a fee.
Welcome Aboard, Bob!
I'm Bill Karr. My son Doug created this site and I help out a bit. We hope that you enjoy it.
The following message is from Doug:
1. Great picture.
2. Click the Commands tab and search for your commands so that you can join them and add them to your page! This is how other shipmates will find you.
3. Invite all your shipmates!
4. Don't hesitate to add an event or a reunion to the Events tab!
5. We've also started Commands for each State. Be sure to join or add your own state!
I give out gifts often for those folks who participate on Navy Vets! Be sure to start up a blog post or two and tell us all about your time in the Navy!
