I've got the CNFV Patch - had the original design on a picture of the berets we were authorized to wear and had it made at a patch shop here in South Jersey - someone ripped off my original beret, but got a replacement one from my dad who was also working in country. Was one of the first to move fro the Dai-Nam into the Liloy hotel by the train station when they converted it into enlisted billeting. Used to watch movies on the roof top there. Spent my 19 months at the HQ and running all over the country. Ens Zumwalt was in our office just before I left. Was there from Sep 68 to May 70.
Will -we probably met each other at Headquarters - worked in the Plans (N-5) office - I spent a lot of time in the Graphics office preparing briefing graphics (view graphs) for the Department and for the road trips where we presented the briefings in the field.
