Hi Mike, Good to read your post. Interesting to note that I was there when you were there. Our Company number was 27-68 and we started sometime in January 1968. That means we were about 10 companies apart. Lived at the bottom of the 'hill' along with company 26. We had 62 members. I was able to get the list with help from a couple of other members of the company who saved the graduation program and company picture for all these years. I am guessing that Miss Green was your company nurse also. I was in contact with her for about 4 months until I lost her. I think she has PTSD also since she had every company going through and knew that many of 'her' corpsman died in Viet Nam. One of the Corpsmen that I graduated with, went to FMSS with, Camp Pendleton Hospital, and left for RVN the same week lives in the same town I do. We ran into each other shopping at a food market several years ago and we get together every 3 months. He had saved the pic and the graduation pamphlet. Putting them together was a bit of a problem. I was able to find another of our company and his mom had insisted that he write down all the corpsman names, bless her. Then we were able to put together most of the names and faces. Searched the Virtual Wall and none of us were killed in Viet Nam. Some were badly wounded and several have passed from their wounds ?, medical ailments, two that I know from suicide. I do not know any other way to find other members other than to do it the hard search. I got on the internet and used several search engines to look up names and matched with their home state of enlistment and their age. Age should be easy, state is a problem unless you knew them. You may get lucky and find someone that has their graduation brochure and that is a great start. It took me over 2 1/2 years and many phone calls to contact 45 members. Start soon as we are getting older and less viable. I missed two of our members by two weeks when they died of diabetes just before I found them. Wish I could help you more. The whole area was blackened and all the plants were dead. I was in Quang Tri province at VCB all the way to the DMZ (and in the DMZ, shhhhh) Thanks for sending the USMC information. I am looking at it and trying to find the maps where I was located. One of those things I have to do. I am on decadron today and I get very wordy. Thank you Shipmate. Terry
