I took a flight on a P-3 (i think it was) from NAS North Island to NAS Pax River on my first leave in 1966. Must have made a stop in every NAS along the way. Took 3 days to cross country but enjoyed every minute.
Hello Ken, My first duty station was with VRF-32 on NAS North Island, San Diego. Did not realize that ther was other squadrons with that designation.
I was a Kiddie Cruiser.Joined after high school at age 17,was discharged on my 21st birthday.Had some adventures in those years.
