    I was assigned to VA-128 from NAVAIRES Whidbey Island as a TAR.  I was with this unit for about two years until they didn't want the TARS anymore.

    I retired from VA-128 on Dec. 16, 1997.  I had been from one command at NAS Whidbey early 1970.  AIMD, OPS, VA-165, VA-196, and finally VA=128.  I met Adm. Lyle Bull when he was a Lt.  I also met his son just before I left Whidbey after I retired.  I had a great tour in VA-128.
