  • I was with VT-26 from 1966 thru 1969. Spent time on the flight line as a plane captain, huffer driver and AME trouble tech and also drove the lox cart. Was there when the F11 was phased out and replaced with the F9. Spent my last year in charge of the night shift for all maint. repairs.

  • I was in VT 26 in 1969 as a third and second class personnelman.  I worked in the hangar upstairs in educational services.

  • Ed: I was on the flight line with the F-11's, then went to check crew & then to Power Plants. I was there from 1965 to 1968.we transitioned to the F-9's & had the opportunity to get some flight time. You can go on Face book or google N.A.S. CHASE FIELD. There are a lot of photos on there. We had 2 Chase Reunions one in 2009 & 1 in 2011. There was supposed to be 1 this April but it was cancelled due to lack of Participation.

  •  Is there anyone out there from VT-26 F-11 F-9 flight line from 1966-1968 I was a plane captain & a airframes troubleshooter on flight line would like to contact some old shipmates
