    Just recently heard they demolished this building and opened up the newer NRMC closer to the Main Gate at Oceanside. Sorry to hear that, lots of memories there and in the nearby BEQ, which I presume was demolished with the old NRMC!

  Plank owner....Naval Regional Medical Center Camp Pendleton, CA 1974...part of the inaugural crew of the NRMC CAMPEN when they went from the old wooden "H" design to the multilevel medical center on the shores of Lake O'Neill near mainside. OOH-RAH!

  U.S.S Frank Cable - Picked her up in Seattle and sailed her to Charleston.

  And i was out in the harbor to see her off for the last time as she sailed to Guam.

  i commission the uss barnstable county lst 1197 in long beach calif. the ship was built in san diego and outfiffed in long beach i was a second class store keeper sorting out supplies for different department after commissioning we departed for little creek virginia

  Plank owner at Naval Air Facility, Cam Ranh Bay RVN. Served from May of '67 to May of '68. We had one corner of the large air force base complex. It was sand and concrete when we started.
