  The fading ratings and farming things out to the civilian world is just a symptom of just how really "head in the sand" the powers that be are! Not only was the Navy more self sufficient, they had a bi-coastal system that at least gave us some protection! Now, they close the NTC's on the coasts, they close down all the Hospital Corps Schools and send them to an Army base in TX of all places! How many Naval bases do we have left "in" the country? Plus, just look at the size of our Navy! Have they dropped below 300 yet? Were the US Navy at the strength it should be there would be very little problem with Somalian pirates! Now there Jim is a good use of the 5" guns or even the 40mm or the 20mm! Although, even a 50cal would take care of those gnats! We need another Ronald Reagan! There certainly isn't one in the current crop of wannabes!

  It use to be easier to tell the difference between a "fairy tale" and a "sea story"! However, I am thinking it will not be as easy anymore now that fairies can go to sea!

  Hey, I just realized that in the options on a command that I can promote someone to an "administrator"! So Mr Balla, I just promoted you and David! Hahaha!

  Maybe we should have a "Promotion Ceremony'! Get your dress whites on and I'll see you both on the fantail!

  Apparently Capt. Brugal is now "history"! The Reagan's site list the XO now as Commander Kevin P. Lenox! It seems that any CO or XO that appears on TV these days is shortly on their way elsewhere!

  It's actually too easy these days, what with google and the net!
