  • Jim Mogan, how the hell are ya? it was late 66 and we had asked the captain to come down and check it out..  It was the onions in the bug juice that got me.  Where are you at now, I move to Maui, last I heard you moved to Utah. Hope all is well

  • Can anyone remember when all we had left to eat on board was onions and pancakes? And how about the wonderful bench tables and seeting ,great in rought seas. I think it was sometime in 66 or 67 back on the Nam coast.
  • I remember Capt. Casper and he was the best old man, (or should I say relatively young for a Capt., and a mustanger besides) I think I had too. Best boat I was on, beat the he-- out of river boats.
  • Comment by Jerry Gray on June 21, 2012     Captain Casper was a great captain. I made the flag, but it actually read "The friendliest ghost off the vietam coast"

  • I served under both Capt. Bress and Capt. Casper.  Casper was a great Capt.  To be exact, his flag was green w/a white ghost, it read "the friendly ghost of the vietnam coast."

  • He was by far the best Capt I ever served under.

  • I was aboard when Capt Casper the Ghost of the Vietnam Coast was the CO
