  • Stationed at SUBASE Pearl various times in my career.  75-77 as MM1/MMC in R-9/Outside Machinery.  82-84 R3-R4/Electrical/Electronics Div O.  89-93 as R2-R9/Inside/Outside Machinery Div O , R7/Planning Officer, and Repair Department Asst Production Officer APMA.  Also rode a few submarines out of Pearl and staff duty at COMSUBPAC and PHNSY&IMF.  Loved the "Old" SUBASE!

    I was at the steam torpedo shop from 77-80.

     Great duty and greater people.

  • I was at Subase Pearl 77-81 at the Steam Torpedo Shop. Across from Beaman's. Went deep sea fishing on the special services boat ( Mokinnani ). Great duty even better crew members. Went to Torpedo Tube school on Ford Island in order to preform tube inspections for the fleets Sub's.

  • At Subase 70 to 73, 79 to 83. Periscope shop. Mode to Old Torp shop on second tour. Great duty. Yes I am that "Charlie" Haight, the 50 cal guy.
  • My last duty station.  I was attached to the Small Craft Division of Sub Base Pearl.  I was a chief engineer on several of the Torpedo Retrievers there and in charge of the engine overhaul shop for them as well as the special services fishing boat we all could rent and go out on for a day of great fishing.  It was a great duty station and have alot a great memories there.  Was stationed there 1985-1987, would love to hear from anyone who was also stationed there, even before or after I was.
  • paul pysher GMT2, Guided Missle Unit 10 Regulus missle support for subs in the Pacific 1962-1964. Any one familiar with this group???

Sub Base Pearl Harbor

I was stationed at Sub Base Pearl Harbor from august 61 to mar 64. I worked at the submartas I was a storekeeper. My brother was stationed on the USS Coucal ASR8. I loved beingin Hawaii and I was back there last year for 2 weeks. I did go to Pearl Harbor for a look andit has all changed from what I remember.
