  I was station with VQ-1 from 1976 till I retired in 1979.

  I was not a Squadron member, but was part of the Weapons Department of NAS Atsugi when their EC121 was shot down by the North Korean in April 1969. I remember the loss of those 31 shipmates.

  Was in the "Q" 72-75, worked the Whales in PowerPlants, Jeez, has it been 40 yrs already, met a lot of good people while stationed on Guam, going back for a visit is on my bucketlist.
