  • My God, How the hell are you Jerry. It's been, what, 40 years? So much to say. I'm sending you my email and some photos.
  • I was stationed at Subic Bay Naval Hospital From 1969-71 as a corpsman. Hi Adrian, Glade to see you are well.
  • I was stationed up the hill from you guys. At the Subic Bay Naval Hospital. Why the base hospital was so far up in the jungle hills still eludes me. But I came, stayed, and went from this place. I was there in 1969-70 as a corpsman at the hospital. Then came back on the USS Enterprise CVAN-65 on port of call in '71. Partied with old buddies from there on my return. I remember the long bus ride from the hospital compound to the main gate of downtown Olongapo. And the Sampagita Club. The pizza there was pretty good as I remember. And one time I won a ton of nickels from one of the slot machines there at this club. Bought several rounds for my pals, and still had change left over.

He is Japanese American and he runs a company making solenoids. There is almost nothing in Olongapo proper that is fun entertainment wise.Barrio Barretto still has many bars,…
