  • I was stationed at NAS from 1974 to 1976 as a LMT instructor and was a RM1 at  the time.

  • yea i remember the club ever try too give blood after a night at that club me and two of my shipmates got kik out
  • I remember fishing off the Admiral's Pier, Weapons Depot, at night under the lights using three spec rigs at a time.  Usually catch three or four on each cast.  Fill up a F150 Security truck with 150 lbs of ice in the bag in about three hours.  Spend all morning cleaning fish.  Damn, good times in 1976.
  • first duty station out of boot camp went there in 1959 work at the boat house crash crew
  • spent some time there also and also been drunk at the good old E-club

Last Duty Station

1975-1977 NAS CCTX Security Department - worked with Lt. Reynolds, Joe Olivetti with the FBI and Master at Arms Department. Traffic enforcement, base security patrols, drug enforcement, etc. Used to go out to the Admiral's Pier on the ammo dump and fish under the halogen drop lights. One night three of us (off duty of course) filled a pickup truck bed with about 150 lbs of specs. Took us all morning 8-12 to clean em. Hardest duty was to tell a Marine Corp Colonel that a dipshit Navy Ensign had…
