  • To all Shellbacks: The adderess for Tiffany Publishing Co. is info@tiffany publishing.com. They have a catalog they can send you with all thier offerings. Like i said before Quality work at fair prices.

  • Thanks alot of people here would like these I bet, I'm going to dig up my info and get one ordered. The funny thing is that I have one the belongs to a man who crossed in 92 on the Ranger. I had a search on ebay going and it came up so I bid and got it to make sure it didn't go the the trash. The Ranger is heading here to Portland as a museam we hope so I planned on donating it. The name is Hickman.

  • Brad: There's a place in Virginia Norfolk i think where you can order cerimonial certificates. Look up Tiffiany Publishing Co on the intetnet. I lost all my military stuff in a house fore in the early 70's I got my Medals from The Military Personell Center in St Loius Mo. It took over a year .Tiffiany does good work. You'll need the date of the crossing and the Ship's name. They have all that info allready and can even tell you who the Skipper was when you crossed.Cost, less that $20.00 including postage. When time permist I'll post my expierence crossing.

  • I'm not sure how to get the certificate but on my 2nd deployment the entry had been removed somehow from my service jacket so the squadron sent a msg to bupers and rcvd confirmation of my crossing so it should be in your record. Now from there I'm don't know I'd like to get one also.

  • Crossed the line during the 74-75 USS Enterprise cruise, too many Pollywogs too few Shellbacks to get beat to bad and I had some pissed off Shellbacks looking for me and some friend because of the night before! Made 4 more trips across, lots of fun! Feeling salty now, my son went across last year. Made it across with Richard C. Cox on those trips and one more on the Kitty.

  • My first crossing was on the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard, 1968.  I crossed again on the U.S.S. Bon Homme Richard,  The next crossing on U.S.S. Enterprise, then U.S.S. Constelation, and also U.S.S. Ranger.  The first time I was very hesitant, but afterwards, I realized how important it was to be a shellback.

  • Crossed it twice in one cruise  USS Constellation CV-64
