  • i crossed so many lines it became pathetic in keeping count.
    This association is quite redundant I believe.
  • I forgot to enter my date it was December of 1985 in the Indian Ocean. Then I became a golden shellback in 1996, but it wasn't the same anymore because 90% of the activities were taken away due to a thing called hazen. I never felt that it was hazen at all, but just pure fun.
  • It was one of the best times of my life, I was on the USS Jack Williams FFG-24. The day before that we cross the line the shellback lets us beat the daylights out them and I never had a qlue as to why until the following morning when we crossed the line then they got even.

  • It was aboard the William H..Standley CG-32 in 1987 that I so honorably accepted into the brotherhood of Shellbacks!! Greatings to all!!

  • First time on aboard the USS Annapolis AGMR-1 (67), same with the second time, Third and fourth time on the USS Hornet.
