    Served '77-'78 as a sonarman. Cmdr Rodgers was a great CO that had some big brass ones....

    I was an MM2 onboard from Dec 1974 to Jun 1978

    I was an SM1 onboard from 1985 to 1990. I was also on the MAA force. I had a great time. I served with SM1 Don Christy.

    For those that didn't know, the USS Trippe was sold to the Greek navy. She was lost in a pierside fire a few years back.
