I've sailed the ditch twice, in going to and coming home from Desert Storm. Interesting and historical place. I did my time in the ditch on the USS Saipan in 1991.

I did the ditch in 84 on the USS America Med/IO. My daughter will go thru this coming spring as they are headed to the horn to hunt pirates.

i went through the canal on board the kitty hawk on the world cruise in 87, i was with the airwing, cvw-9.

Went thru the Suez canal twice on USS America CV66 '80-'81 cruise. And once on the "Hawk" world cruise '87
