VP-92, Patrol Squadron 92 is a former United States Navy patrol squadron that was based at Brunswick Naval Air Station. The VP-92 Patrol Squadron was formed in 1970 at South Weymouth Naval Air Station, and was originally equipped with P-2 Neptune aircraft. It was disestablished in 2007 after being active for 37 years.

  • AW1 Charlie Willette ...I am a plank owner of VP-92 at NAS South Weymouth ..I joined the Reserves in 1960 from VP8 USN and was assigned to crew 8 in VP-911 with P2V's and in 1970 became VP-92 still with crew 8 and later we got P3V's I retired in 1985.
