    Joined the navy March 1972, Orlando then RMA school at Bainbridge,2304 School in Bainbridge then on to USS Mt Whitney til jul 1975 then Shore Duty at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach til dec 23rd 1976.  Had a great time while in he navy, left as RM2. Whitney was a really good ship to be on, met a lot of good people while serving.  Garry Seay  Dalton,Ga

    I was station at NAVCOMSTA Philippines from 1966 to 1969. I worked in the message center. Except for three sections watches I enjoy my time in the Philippines.

    Ben Jackson, I completed Radioman "A" school in 1961 and was assigned to FOCCPAC Kunia Hawaii until I was discharged in 1964.  Often wonder about the wonderful people I worked with during that tour. I lived on Wheeler Field Airbase along with people in the Air Force and Army.

    Jerry Humphries, I attended RMA school from Nov. 1968 to Apr. 1972. First duty station was FOCCPAC Kunia Hawaii ( the tunnel). Worked in the Joint Pacific Relay facility. Navy personnel lived on Wheeler air base or off base. Next duty station was aboard the USS LaSalle home ported in Norfolk, Va. but in dry dock in Philly at that time . I made one 4 week cruise  to GTMO and then back to dry dock in Portsmouth Va. I was discharged a few weeks before LaSalle was deployed to the mid-east in June of 72.

    Roger Booth, went to RmA school in 65, RM B sch in 68/69, then to NCS phil in 69/70. Played on the first tackle football team, worked at the msg center for awhile then went to Recvr cite. Was RM2, Made RM1 in dec70 and transferred out n Dec 70.

    CTR school in Pensacola in 1965, then to Edzell, Scotland until 1967 then Karamursel, Turkey until 1969.

    Went to CYN school in Norfolk Va. in 1965. Went to U.S.S. Constellation that year.Wespac in 1966 as a CYN3 and attended Radioman A school. Xferred to ComAlSeaFron where I made RM2 in Admirals Staff. Back to the Connie in 1968 and went to "Star" school on 32nd street in SDiego. Discharged in 1969 from the Connie.

    I was stationed at the Transmitter site TARLAC in the Philippines for 18 months in 1967-68.

NAVRADSTA T Ft ALLEN/NAVCOMMSTA PUERTO RICO 1962-1964/1971-1974

I'm David J Davies USN RET....MY first duty station was NavRadSta (T) Ft Allen, located in Ponce PR.Attended RM A school in San Diego in 1962,  Arrived in PR and shipped over in 1964,  AttendedRm B school at Bainbridge MD.  My second  tour was from 1971 to 1974 at NAVCOMMSTA PRI worded the Commcen as a tape ape, was transferred to the Recvr site and then to Xmters.When I arrive on the second tour I worked as the Watch Traffic Chief.  Married a Puerto Ricangirl from Ponce and still married.
