I went through SERE in April/May of 1968. We had a chicken. I still remember the head of the POW camp with the gold tooth. I met him later on the USS H W Gilmore. We had a discussion.
Marty: I went through SERE training in Virgina in 1969. We was temp assigned to the Amphious Base at Little Creek. We were taken out to the place where you might have gone and I spent 1 week of hell and one day in the POW building getting bounced around. We had one kid that broke and they sent him back to Little Creek and when we got back he was gone, discharged.
