  • I was stationed at NAS Oceana  AIMD IN Airframes removal able damaged  

    broken structural parts Oct. 1976 to Jan. 1979 were I left the Navy foe parent health problems. I was assistant shop supervisor as AMS1  and the  Shop Chief Dale Ansell. we had a great crew,                                                                                     

  • AIMD Power Plants, Production Control, 86-89
  • Came to VA42 from "A" school in Memphis as an AMH. Transfered to VA85.

    May 1969 (?)

  • Served on shore duty at NAS Oceana from '91-'93 at AIMD shop 610, AT3 IFF technician. Was also there while on sea duty with the GW from '93-'97, AT2.

  • Was at NAMTRADET, VF-33 and VF-31 between 1967 to 1975
  • hi i was a serving warrant officer uk royal navy for 37 years , now retired one of my exchange was intel courses at oceana in 1992. wish to try and holiday house exchange for three months next year with a serving or retired naval family . we have tried to find how to advertise this but so many organisations to choose from . we enjoyed virginia and would like to try and return there. anyone have any thoughts on how to proceed . many thanks

  • was with VF-103 from Jan 1966-Sept 1967....water hole was grummpies and the t"bird inn that the seals from little creek tore up each graduating class..e-mail papagils @aol.com
  • Stationed at NAS Oceana from 1962-1966. Assigned to VA-42 after Avionics "A" School at NATTC Millington, TN. Was an AQB and worked on A6A's.

exchange holiday homes

 i served in royal navy for some 37 years retiring as a warrant officer in 1997,during my many exchange tours i attended intel courses at oceana  in 1992 before returning to london, we are now retired and wish to try and exchange our home with serving or retired military family for a period of three months next year on a holiday basis .our problem is that it is very difficult to actually find where to advertise our exchange their are so many organisations in existance it is difficult to know…
