  • I joined Nov. 1963 in Warren, Ohio.  I graduated from Bristol High school,  I Went to boot camp at Great Lakes in winter time (not very smart).  I was stationed at or traveled around the world during my career.  Spent a lot of time on aircraft carriers deployed in the Pacific and Indian Ocean.  I Retired Dec. 16, 1987 in Oak Harbor, WA.  (N.A.S. Whidbey Island).  I'm currently living in Ridgeland, SC.

  • Born in cleveland, join navy in 88 did boot in orlando(in august).went to EO"A" school in gulfport,ms. joined NMCB 62 in sigonella, sicily. then NMCB 7, and nasjrb willow grove. discharged in 96. now live in north ridgeville. GO BUCKS

  • Born & raised in "THAT STATE UP NORTH" (MI), but have lived in Ohio since '88.  Served as BT in Uncle Sam's Canoe Club from '68-'77 on PRATT (DLG-13), MITSCHER (DDG-35) and JOHN KING (DDG-3).  Am presently a CDR as the Operations Officer of the Ohio Naval Militia.

  • I AM FROM LEBANON, OHIO. I ENLISTED IN SEPT 81 AND TOOK THE TRAIN FROM CINCINNATI TO GREAT LAKES, ILL FOR BOOT CAMP. THEN TO RM-A SCHOOL IN SAN DIEGO. MY FIRST COMMAND WAS NAVFAC CENTERVILLE BEACH IN NORTHERN CA. THEN ON TO 32ND ST IN SAN DIEGO ASSIGNED TO THE USS INGERSOLL DD-990. I LEFT THE NAVY AS AN RM2 AND MOVED BACK TO OHIO, BUT CALIFORNIA KEPT CALLING MY NAME AND I MOVED BACK. I NOW LIVE IN DANA POINT, CA AND LOVE THE O C..

  • From Van Wert, Ohio. Enlistment from 1975-1981 at the following commands:

    RTC Great Lakes,--> Millington, Tenn.,-->NAS Oceana, Va,-->Vf-31 and Vf-103 both aboard the USS Saratoga.

  • I was raised in Fremont, OH and joined in 1977 at Cleveland.  I went to bootcamp at Great Lakes and "A" school at Millington, TN.  My duty stations were VT-25/NAS Chase Fld. (Beeville, TX) and VA-94/NAS Lemoore.  I was discharged in 1981 and now teach in Missouri.  Now my son is Corporal the USMC; ain't that a kick in the pants.
  • I was raised in Findlay,Ohio and joined in 1975 at Cleveland,boot camp RTC Great lakes,BT-A school there, first ship USS Savannah AOR-4,then off to Subic Navel Base,back to Norfolk for shore duty at NAVMACLANT Did a year at GITMO FTG then seconded ship USS William H. Standley CG-32,back to RTC Great Lakes to train recruits,picked up Chief there,retired as BTC(SW) off the USS Puget Sound AD-38,1995, again back in Norfolk,"You can take the guy from the Buckeye state but you can't take the Buckeye out of the guy", or gal.
