  • I was transferred From NAF Signorelli Sicily after a 3 year tour at OMD working on C-131 Samaritan, S-2F Tracker,H-2 Hello's and HH-46 Sea Knights SAR. To NAS Oceana Oct. 1976. I was singed AIMD Airframes shop as Assistant Shop supervisor As AMS1. My Shop was Chief Ansell. We repaired All assigned removal able Airframes part and Structures I was also Command air wing Atlantic   Corrosion/Hydraulic Contamination Program team. I was a NAS Oceana until January 1979 when I left the Navy.

  • I was  in and out of AIMD from 1970 to 1989. Worked W/C 690 and W/C 650.

  • Looking for a retired chief( maybe senior or master ) who was in VA-85 in the late 60's and early 70's. I think he would have stayed in the Va. Beach area in A-6's. His name is Jim Godfrey. Also would like to find a ADJ-1 George Moore and a Chief Crisci who was in 85 about the same time. Would like to find these guys for an upcoming VA-85 reunion. Any help really would be appreciated.   • I was stationed at the communications center from jul 75 til dec 76.  Long hours and always short handed but worked with some great people.  Garry

  • I was statoned at NAS Oceana from 1970-1972;  HM3 with VC2.  Worked at dispensary in Medical Records.  It was my first duty station as a married sailor.  We live in Robin Hood Apartments in Norfolk.  Enjoyed my tour there.

  • I was stationed with AIMD 1965-1969. Repaired generators csd's for F4 and A4 aircraft.

  • ADCS, 1986 to 1989, AIMD Power Plants Production Supervisor

  • i was at aimd p/p  wc 41a j52 shop 1990-1992.  also was tad to base police.

  • I was at AIMD from 1988 to 1993. SeaOpDet from 91 to 93, mainly attached to the USS Saratoga.
