Naval Air Station, Point Mugu, Ca. Alongside Pacific Coast Highway in Ventura County, the Point Mugu Naval Air Station is home to the Pt. Mugu Missile Park. A wide variety of the missiles and airplanes that have been tested at Point Mugu since WW2.

    While with NMCB 40 left from Point Mugu on July 3, 1989 enroute to Rota
    Spain Also returned from Desert Storm to Point Mugu Mar 15, 1991

    I was at Nas Pt Mugu Assigned to VA-305 9-24-79 thru 9-01-1983. Worked the flight line for 1 yr before being assigned to AIMD at Nas Pt Mugu. Then return to Pt Mugu assigned to Navaires Pt Mugu and sent TAD to VP-65 from 5-23-1986 thru 5-18-1990 had a great time both times i was assigned to Nas Pt Mugu, Calif
