  Those were the good  old days I served on The Uss Meyerkord DE-1058, The USS Lang FF-1060, The USS Hull-DD-945, and The USS Nimitz CVN-68 Yes Jerry I miss those Days, I miss the Sea , Friends and Shipmates. Like your picture . I hae to go back soon.

  Hi David!

  Started in August that year and then after Boot Camp went to the USS Alamo LSD-33 Over the years, I found a few old friends I knew and looking at the Yearbook reminds me how old I am getting! hahahah

  Jerry You were in the Same Year I was at NTC San Diego, I was in Company 74-017 , I Started Boot Camp Jan 74 and Graduated in April of 74 after Completing Fireman Apprentice School at NTC. What month did You start?

  Here a photo of me getting my orders to report to my "A"  Basic Hospital Corps School at the NRMC (Balboa) San Diego up the hill from RTC/NTC 1973...I'm in the third row from the bottom second man in with the SA stripes.
