  • Reported aboard the LPD-3 14 OCT 1965 as an ET3. Became a Loyal Son of Neptune and Trusty Shellback on 28 October 1966. Looking forward to Gettysburg next September.
  • Hey Shipmates, Along with Paul Barger, I'm the co-founder for the USS LaSalle Association started in 2001. We had our first reunion June 2004 in Charleston SC, 2nd in San Antonio TX, 3rd in Mystic CT, and our 4th as Paul Barger noted will be at Gettysburg PA September 2010. I'm a plankowner, was assigned to USS LaSalle LPD3 out of RTC in the summer of 1963 and was onboard thru January 1967. Would be great to have a larger group when we're at Gettysburg.
