    Without a doubt absolutely the best duty station I had during my naval carreer.

    Was aboard CVN-70 86-91 and lived in on-base housing.

    Was a drilling reserve with VA-304 in 1977 at the time i was with VA-304 the Squadron had A-7B Corsairs. Then i came back to NAS Alameda and was attached to Navaires from 1-28-94 to 4-4-94 this was during the time Alameda was on the BRAC list to shut down and then Navaires move to NAS Moffett Field ( Navaires Santa Clara ) I was unhappy when NAS Alameda was shut down due to the BRAC, but i had a great time while i was there.

    Came on board with the reserves. NAS, OMD. Was with VR-21G4. Was a plank owner VR-55.
