  • Company 3153- Sep 1974-Nov 1974. CC- TD2 Merianne Brookes. ACC- SA Zazmovich. I was 2nd platoon leader for the first half of boot camp, then I was promoted to RCPO. Came back to RTC after graduation leave as an Assistant Company Commander. Worked with 3 boot camp companies until leaving for HM A school GLakes.

  • I was in C139, don't remember Battalion, Nov75-Dec75 (Actually Graduated 1st week of Jan76 due to Christmas. CC was PO1 'Crash' Curringa, don't remember his ACC's name. (3rd Class, tall, sandy hair, beak nose) Our company name was 'Curringa's Crabs.' LOL, I can't say I remember it being a 'good' time, but it was certainly memorable!

  • I went to Boot Camp RTC Orlando in September 1984 to November 1984 C245 and the CC's were Chief Mackenzie and PO1 Risner.  Rice, Anspach, Lamb, Handspike, Doles, Bell. Recruit Chief Petty Officer was Taylor. Man we really had a great group, many of us went to NTTC Meridian for A schools.

  • I arrived at RTC Orlando on June 14, 1973 and graduated on August 10, 1973.

  • In February 1969, the Navy Induction Center in Los Angeles sent four of us to Orlando, FL, where a new boot camp was being established.  I started in Co. 072, spent a weekend in the base hospital, and had to wait for Co. 077 to be formed.  It took a few days for enough guys to be sent there in order to form a company.  I ended up being the only guy not from Macon, GA, or St. Charles, LA, in my company.  Since there was no NTC established at the time, only those of us who signed up for advanced electronics or the nuclear power went  program to a Class A school and not straight to the fleet.  I left RTC in May and was sent to NTC Great Lakes for BE/E School and IC "A" School.  I spent six months at Nuke School at Mare Island in Vallejo, CA, and six months at the S1W Prototype in the desert of Idaho.  Finally I ended up on the USS Enterprise for deployment to Vietnam, the finished my six years in Virginia as part of the Pre-Commissioning Crew for the USS South Carolina.  I made IC-1 during my 4th year of enlistment, decided six years would be enough.

  • I was there from June 1987 - August 1987 Company C145 Chief "Hurricane" Jackson was my CC

  • I don't remember the company number but the CC was BM1 Murr, graduated August 1971.

  • I was the RCPO of C201 Aug 1980.  Where is Pig Pen Mullinex?

  • I was at RTC 29 Aug 1975-31 Oct 1975, company 3014 with PO2 Bolle as the CC. The ACC was her half sister.

  • Company 225

    Sept - Nov 1986
