  When I was a CC in RTC Orlando I would have loved for a recruit to present me with a stress card. I would have honored their invitation to cause as much stress as I could to prepare them for the real world. A ship is not the place to be unless you have been throughly inoculated against stress. Daily life on a ship can be stressful, as you all know. Oh well, retired since 93, not my concern!

  "Stress card".!!! What the heck is a stress card? Did not have those when I was there.

  I remember just a few years ago that recruits were given "stress cards" and drill instructors had to back off of a recruit when the card was presented! I hope they're still not doing that!!

  I can remember from 1982 that i had raw spots on my waistline from doing situps
  You would think after all of the people that went there it would get a little smother but i guess not

  was at bootcamp orlando june 1969. i'm from florida and that grinder was hell.

  Should have closed Great lakes and kept RTC Orlando or even San Diego open!
