history of squadron
Hi, I lived in Millington until recently when we moved to the Philly area. I am working on my senior projectfor the University of Memphis and for it I took several pictures of the old hangar. I would like to get somemore history on the squadron than I have been able to gather from the internet. NSA Mid-South archives do not go back far enough to get much info. Checked in as a TAR AO3 in Feb. '71, under OinC LCDR Ken Frame. Flew ordnance in the SP-2H. (We were the last P-2 outfit in the Navy, I believe.) TAD to AW "A" school across the street in '73, then flew Jez. Transferred toVP-60 in June '75.
