    I recommend that anybody connected with the USS Alabama read the book ' Wolf of the Deep' by Stephen Fox about the CSS Alabama and how they out manuevered the US Navy during the Civil War.  Great story !  http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.history.navy.mil/pho...

    My dad was on this Ship during WWII. He is a plank member. His name is listed on a board at the Museum site Mobile AL

    Was able to tour the USS Alabama a few years ago. Impressive battle wagon.
