Mr. Fields
I would like to try and get some information from you concerning the incident where you talk of the Blue shirt that was unfortunately killed? I was a plane captain of VT-4 and was somewhat involved in this incident. We had just landed on the Lexington and were walking in among the aircraft when the incident happened. Do you remember what time of year it was? I am filing for a PTSD claim and this was one of the stressors I am claiming among many, but they are looking for a 90 day window and my memory of the date is fuzzy?
You were close to Mason we are 50 miles north of Fredericksburg.
I was living south of Houston in Alvin were I retired from BP. I now live in Mason Tx which is about 100 miles west of Austin. I have been in touch with some of the guys Mike Shrowang, and Ed Koch. I found them on the USS Lexington Home Page.
WC I served with you in V1 I was in Fly1.
