"Fred, use your DD214. It has the 8404 designation on it. I had no trouble joining the MCL. I was welcomed with open arms. I am the only FMF corpsman in our detachment. I was with 1/4 3rd MarDiv home port was Okinawa from 11/72 to 11/73. Summer…"
"I remember you well, Bill. How are you and what are you doing these days? I am living in Schenectady, NY and still working, but looking forward to some retirement in a couple years."
"hi Chief,
The drop down list did not include any Navy rank, only Marine, so I use the corporal rank and added HM3 in the comments. I see you were in Camp Hansen for a while. Hope we left it in better shape for youthan we got it.
Terry Quintin"
I retired as a municipal police officer and now work at the VA. I regret not going in the medical field, I really enjoyed it. Great memories of Philly and the women who worked there! I didn't know you went to Oki when I did. I regret not keeping in touch with some of the guys. Came home, got married and kinda blew everything and everybody off. Nice to hear from you.

Terry Quinlan ... my wife and I were at GLAKES HCS same time you were. We were Co. 70B. Were you in 70A or 70B?
Seems we left Oki about the same time, looking at a copy of my SR, I left Oki on 6 or 7 Nov.
Terry, be sure to add your name to the HM page and the Corps School page!
Corporal and a HM3 - multi tasking I guess.
Welcome aboard shipmate, May you have Fair Winds and Following Seas!
