Ha, I bet we did. I was the one with the puzzled look on his face because I thought sailors wore bell bottoms and rode in ships. What was I doing marching on a hot grinder carrying a flag (I was in a flag company) of Michigan? It took me a while to get in the groove and by then, boot camp was just about over.
