Chief, Thankyou for your response. I was trained with the Saudis in Winter and Spring of 76-77. They were indeed an interesting lot of guys. They took me as "not an American", "why do you sit with them". I enjoyed my time with them. As to the abuse, yes their law was not forgiving of the slightest failure. A man droped his weapon in the first rank third from the left. Immedialy all of 006 was march out to the grinder, when we returned the wall of the barracks was covered with blood. The Saudi recuit was gone. We we told to form ranks later I returned with my Saudi buddies, we played counter rythums on blade buckets and they danced. They told me they were Fisals sons, and their father would kill them if they did not listen. I believed them... gregory_hunt590@yahoo.com.
