Where were you or your family stationed?

My older brother was stationed out of Pearl Harbor and Pensacola. He flew in the Gulf in the early 90's just prior to Desert Storm--was a combat zone, but I'm not positive what it was called--he was predominantly escorting tankers through the Straits of Hormuz.
