"Entered RTC San Diego 1/28/71 in Rifle Co. 4007, took the shot to join BJC in order to get 2 more weeks of shore duty - for the rest of my USN education, that 2 weeks' seniority made me the Section Leader in every class ;)
I'll never forget CC MR1…"
Welcome Aboard Marc, I followed you through BJC in spring of '71. I enjoyed your comments about Mr. Krider. He was a good CC. I was MAA for the company during my tour, during the morning inspection, he would run his finger along various surfaces in the barracks and then transfer the dust or crud onto my jacket. After Inspection we would stroll over to the rehearsal where he would display my now dusty jacket as a symbol of his displeasure with the condition of the barracks. He did have a good sense of humor.
