I sang with the Great Lakes BJC when I was in boot camp, June to August 1968. I remember practicing in one of the drill halls and the echo was amazing. My all time favorite song was "You'll Never Walk Alone". It would give me goose bumps. The main event for me was the choir singing the National Anthem at the 1968 Green Bay Packers College All Star game at Soldier Field in Chicago. I only wish I had a video of that event! Another memory was "front of the chow line" privilege that we had. And, singing Anchors Away while marching! Currently retired and living in San Diego, California. Life is good!
