Keith: Sounds like the military prepared you for a good life. I was in the reserves so I was discharged to the reserves and started college and drill in 1975. Joined the Louisiana State Police in 81. Worked at Troop F in Monroe La for 30 years. Now live in West Carroll Parish and work as a deputy. I ride my motorcycle a lot up in Ark. I go through Arkadelphia quite a bit. I live about 10 miles from the Ark line. Bryant is an easy ride. Do you ride a mc? Also I found some RTC fellow recruits on Facebook. Baucum and Bodder.
Yep, thats me. I scanned that pic from the Anchor book we got at graduation. There is a small x above my pic. If you didnt keep up with your Anchor boot camp book I will scan some more pictures and post them. I went back to San Diego in 2001 to visit the base. It was basically abandoned, and used a fire dept training site by the city. The old cement slabs we washed clothes on were still there. The TDE1 is still there. I pulled up the site on google earth and looked at it recently. It is very good to hear from you. Update me on how things are going.
