"I'm not sure of the exact year when women started deploying down south. I did my summer support tours (3) in 1988, 1989 and 1990/91. Women by the time I started were well established in McMurdo as well as smaller bases. "

nice hearing from you tell me when did they allow woman down in deep freeze when I went down the saying was behind every three was a women I don't remember seeing any threes

welcome aboard kara I see you were down in Antarctica I was down there operation deep freeze 63-64 in those years there ere no woman down there were you with vx6 also there is an Antarctic page on here
