I retired in Nov.1990 after 2 years medical hold while fighting colon cancer...nearly died. worked for 19 years as the Logistics Manager at CPW-11 Special Projects. We live in Winterbourne Patio Homes at Club Continental off Kingsley Ave. in Orange Park. We spend most of our time traveling or at our place in the NC Mountains. Judy Anderson (Slaught) and I correspond regularly andd visit Occasionally. She and her husband live in Hawaii & Independence, MO. Dean Newman lives in Pax River and is/was a big logistics Kahuna with DOD. Yes I still miss the fun times we had in VP-49, the 9 Plane Flyover is still talked about on the "Mighty P3 Group" Facebook page! There is also a VP 49 Alumni Page on Facebook but ist the 51-55 year group. Let me know the next time you are in Orange Park. Marie and I still run...well she does...I mostly shuffle! Stay In touch.
I remember you Cdr Dvorak. Great to see you in the group. I was in the squadron from 1981 through 1986.
