I was in the navy almost 8 years but my husband was in for 30. We meet in Morocco. I was out of the navy for 17 years then went in USNR for 6 years. Traveled to Korea, Alaska, served aboard the USS Eisenhower, participated in Fleet Week New York City and was part of the inauguration for President Bush. After discharge fro USN I remained home to raise our two daughtrs till they were school age then had a job as Human Resources Assistant for 23 years. I retired Nov 2011. Spend a lot of time now with my two granddaughters and our church.

I sent a invitation out to all hands except you since you are already a member. Have heard from several men but no one from the Greenwich Bay or our service time frame.
Hi Jerry,
I lived on the base but rode the bus into Kinetra quite often. I worked at a Tropospheric Scatter site that was located about 2-3 miles from the main base. When I first arrived I was trained on the equipment so the Navy could take over maintenance from a company named Page Engineering. I really enjoyed my time spent there.
My 4 trips to Panama were from 1963 to 1966. I got out of the Navy in Aug of 1966. My brother Dave was on the LST-583 from 1966 to 1968. Would like to see pictures tho. Still knew guys that were still aboard in 1968. Good to hear from you.
