James, one of the first things i did when I got up here is contact my congressman and his VA rep in the office is trying to help. She helped to get my SSI disability right away but still a 5 mounth waiting period and a 1 mounth delay in paying (fed regs) but I got that
James: as a boiler tech we were in charge of the desallantors and yes I think we were drinking, bathing and breathing the stuff Since we were in the bay, land on 3 sides of us and the area was known to have been sprayed. My 1st cancer was skin, but was so large and deep on left sholder had to do 2 mounths of open wound healing. How can my VA service rep contact you? William Johnson jest cotacted me. If we can all make statments about end sweep the VA will have to compensate all that have a laget claim and not make us wait 5-10 years. thanks bob
James, thanks for the reply Iam fighting my 3rd cancer and have a claim in for disaility for last 5 years. I moved from the Reno nv. area 6 mounths ago due to unable to work and get treatments. I am now in Boise Id. area and new VA service stated that being up the main channel like we were that is cosidered that boots on beach,inland waterway not blue sea. If this happens it will help anyone on end sweep with claims. I remember the Russin freighter tied up near us with MIG fighter on deck all wraped up. This proofs where we were, jest need ther mates to verifey with me . I worked for the DOD US Army for the last 12 years civilian but you get time served with this.
