    Douglas, thanks for this cool site. I hope an Orlando RTC video is out their and comes to the surface, I won the popularity contest [honor recruit] and therefore should be on the video saluting the big shots 1 on 1. Nuke school was an entirely different matter....

    I was in bootcamp in 1983. I was on the rife drill team, but I failed to get a video of our graduating performance.
    I wonder if you or anyone would know if there would be any way i could locate this video. If so how?
    It is something I would like very much. THank you.

    Hey Doug,

    Did you say you were an EM on board the Spartanburg? What years were you on board?

    I was in the IC shop from 85-89 and was tight with several EM's..... Maybe I'm mixing you up with some other shipmates. Forgive me, It's been a long time!!

    Thanks for your comment. I just discovered the web site a couple of days ago, and another vet from my ship told me how to join. Being my age it is not quite as likely that I will contact many others from her. My two best buddies in ships company were electricians like me and they both have moved on to a better place I expect.
