He was the best commander I served under.I enjoyed my service aboard the Lexington.Met and married a girl from Pensacola. Had many good times in Gunners Div. Some friends and I formed a band which performed for dependence day cruises. Studied Martial Arts under Billy Wells and learned Auto Motive Mechanic from Devon Blackwell. I got to play my guitar after hours in a club called THE SABER CLUB with a band from Mobile called Capricorn Express.I remember the times in the yards.In both Boston and Mobile.
