VETERNS MEDICAL

Last night i was watching the CBS News and there was a segmant about a marine who lot both of his legs and had other medical issues because of the war in Iraq, the reporter stated that this Vet had to use his own money in order to get decent care, now I know the VA is there for us Vets, but yet it always seems when you go to the clinics or hospitals for treatment they just get you in and get you out.I know this because I too am seeing a civilian Dr. for my service connected disabilities and i get better treatment from him than i due from the VA.The reason I believe is that as with the military the VA, rushes to get you in and get you out like they have a quota to make.Rush, rush rush. Then if you have a claim waiting, well then it takes forever to get some kind of word back, it seems to me that the promise they made when you sign up is not the service you get when you get out, whether it be medical or education, I served with pride and honor and I would do again gladly, but it seems to me that this Administration, both VA, and the President of the U.S.A. has gone and let alot of Vets down, whether they are disabled or not, I feel like its time for Washington to start helping us Vets like they did with the banks and car companies.
